Jack studied music at Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, gaining a first class BA Hons degree and has been working in the industry ever since. His latest credit is Fulwell 73 and Netflix’s 10-parter ‘Sunderland Till I Die’ which has now been recommissioned.
In 2013, Jack teamed up with Ruth Barrett as a session guitarist on Legacy, an intense and emotionally charged Cold War thriller for BBC2. Since then, Jack has gone on to write and play on a whole host of Barrett’s work, including guitar playing on Sky 1’s Critical starring Lennie James, Remember Me on BBC1 starring Michael Palin and feature film City of Tiny Lights starring Riz Ahmed. Jack has written additional music for Love, Nina for BBC, ITV’s Fearless starring Helen McCrory, BBC’s Collateral, Press for Lookout Point/BBC, and The Split for Sister Pictures/BBC.
Jack has also been working on Netflix’ WWII feature epic Speed Machine and children’s animation series The World of Beatrix Potter, soon to be released on Amazon Prime.
Now is Jack’s time to be recognised as a fully-fledged composer in his own right.
