Jim William’s score for Kill List much praised

Kill List, the new Ben Wheatley film opened nationwide on September 2 and is garnering lavish praise – as is Jim Williams’terrific score:

John Harle Scores Lucian Freud BBC2 Documentary

‘A Painted Life’, BBC2′s documentary on Lucian Freud, airs Saturday February 18th at 9 pm and features a brilliant and illuminating score composed by John Harle. The music is performed by John (saxophone) and Steve Lodder (piano) with The Sospiro Ensemble.

Michael Radford Joins SMA

We are very pleased to announced that the acclaimed Oscar Nominated and double BAFTA Award winning writer/director Michael Radford has joined SMA Talent Limited for management/agency, excluding North America, where he is represented by David Guillod of Intellectual Artists Management.

He is currently writing a comedy, THE PERFECT EQUATION, for Gaumont, which he will direct; he is attached to direct WODEHOUSE’S WAR for Corona Pictures/SMA; and planning KING LEAR, the second of his Al Pacino Shakespeare projects.

Phil Stagg’s ‘Wodehouse’s War’ to be directed by Michael Radford

Phil Stagg’s screenplay,Wodehouse’s War, is to be directed by Michael Radford, the award winning director of Il Postino.

The film will shoot next year in Germany, France and the UK and is produced by Richard Johns and Rupert Jeremy for Corona Pictures and Olav Wyper for SMA Talent.

Meanwhile Phil is working on the screenplay of The Club 1948, a thriller set during the Berlin airlift, for the Munich based ART-OKO Film GmbH.

Steve Wright scores new Raymond Blanc series

Steve Wright has composed the music for Raymond Blancs’ new 60 mins series for BBC 2, ‘The Very Hungry Frenchman’, starting 8 o’clock Thursday February 2 for 5 weeks.
